Creative Work

Constructed World

A constructed world is a fictional world with a highly elaborate setting. Since around 2009, Nakano has been creating the artificial world Firraksnarre along with fantasy and science fiction works set within it. In 2018, he directed the feature-length student film Between the Worlds, which was also featured in the media.

Conlangs (Constructed Languages)

An artificial language is a language created at a specific time by a particular individual or group. Within the artificial world of Firraksnarre, Nakano has designed several such languages, including Varokerim, Artijihak, and Otba’aran.

He also works professionally as a conlanger, having created the ‘Üüpanaṅthian Common Tongue for the Disney+ exclusive drama Dragons of Wonderhatch.

Music

Nakano also composes music, primarily for orchestra. He scored his own film Between the Worlds and two other projects, and wrote both lyrics and music for director Yūki Adachi’s musical film When the Pages Turn. In addition, he is developing a series of pop songs written in constructed languages, titled Con-Pop.

Arts & Crafts

His creative work extends further to pen drawings, colored pencil, acrylic, and oil paintings, as well as woodworking (such as magic wands), UV resin art, and 3D-printed figures.
